CONGRATULATIONS to our reader and fellow Wisconsinite Robert K. for winning our February 2021 photo contest. Robert posted a photo of his 1971 DeTomaso Pantera in its eye-catching original shade of V305 medium green, catching enough attention to win our February contest by a healthy margin. Powered by its original 351 Cleveland engine and ZF transaxle, this Pantera was built in late ’71 and sold in early ’72, just before the introduction of the Pantera L. model.

Robert’s Pantera bested a nicely-finished Austin Healey replica, flathead-powered, 3/4-scale ’32 Ford roadster and a period-looking Daytona Coupe replica in the February contest, which took second, third and fourth respectively.

The March photo contest is now up and running, but it’s clear that our readers were snoozing a little on submissions. Three photos will have shoo in podium finishes, but the order is up to you. Submissions include a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, a Manta Mirage and a contemporary Lamborghini interior shot.
