Congratulations to Factory Five owner Robert T. from Virginia Beach on winning the February Photo of the Month Contest!

Robert’s Daytona Coupe is the first Factory Five to take home our Photo of the Month prize and he’ll receive a free ReinCarNation t-shirt to celebrate with. Robert claims it as a “pretty standard build,” but we think it is downright beautiful and obviously other readers agree. He took delivery of his Coupe project in 2005 and spent the next several years completing it. Buying parts as needed, he was able to finish the car in 2015. A cool side note on his build is that Robert finished all of the paint and body work on the car in a storage unit. We'll be reaching out to hear more from Robert and his experience with close-quarters paint and body, but suffice it to say that not having garage space is no longer a valid excuse.

Robert edged out Dave G’s 1971 Triumph Stag and a cool shot of Jens’ smokin’ side pipes to take home the victory. An ongoing theme in February’s contest was cars and aviation, as three photos in the running included not just the cars, but planes and/or helicopters. March’s contest is up and running now, and accompanying the usual mix of killer Cobras you’ll find a 356 Outlaw, Grand Sport Roadster, Ford F100, GTM, ’51 Ford, 427 Thunderbolt, and Rob Ida’s own Tucker!
