Blowfish Racing’s quick release fire extinguisher mount kit is a convenient mounting solution for track and street use. The billet aluminum mounting kit is available with a universal mount, or with a bracket specific to 2005 through 2014 Ford Mustangs. A worm-screw clamp is used to attach the billet clamping device to any automotive-rated fire extinguisher 3.5 inches in diameter or less. The quick-release lever then attaches the extinguisher to the universal or Mustang specific mount. The universal mount can be installed in any direction, including upside-down, while the Mustang mount secures the extinguisher to the passenger seat track’s forward mounting bolts. The CNC-cut lever features a vibration-proof locking mechanism that is quick and easy to use in an emergency.
