Stainless Thermal and Acoustic Floor and Tunnel Shield from Design Engineering is manufactured to do exactly as the name suggests — control heat and sound in the cockpit of cars and trucks. The shield is made from reflective stainless steel to shed heat, with a heat-resistant glass fiber as well. Sheets also have micro perforations in the material to control noise levels, and can be cut to size with tin snips. The material comes 22 x 19-inch sheets and are flexible with an adhesive backing for ease of installation on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards and more.
