New GOLD line sleeving from Design Engineering is manufactured from high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination and bonded to a 20-ounce heat-treated glass fiber base material. Able to reflect direct heat up to 800 degrees F, GOLD line sleeving provides heat and abrasion defense for critical lines, air intakes and hoses. GOLD sleeving is available in sheaths from 3/4 x 36 inches to 2-1/4 x 36 inches with high-temperature hook-and-loop fastening, and shrouds in 1/2 to 1-1/4 x 36 inch and 2 to 2-1/2 x 36 inch sizes with hook-and-loop closure and open edges. Also available is the Cool Cover, designed to cover cold air tubes. It also features hook-and-loop installation and comes in 28-inch lengths, which can be trimmed down and accommodates up to 4-inch outside diameter air tubes.
