Building your first component car? Want to see the process first and learn some extras along the way? Factory Five Racing wants nothing to stand between you and your next build, and offers build classes with Mott Community College in Michigan. Experienced automotive technology instructors lead classes that are limited in size to ensure personalized instruction. Each three-day session builds a car from start to finish with extra emphasis placed on difficult stages like chassis wiring, brake systems and engine/drivetrain.

When signing up, participants simply select the session that focuses on the car they want to build, including the Mark IV Roadster, ’33 Hot Rod or 818. Classes are held at the Livingston Center in Howell, Michigan, most months and cost $799.
