Pro-Lite Builder steering columns from IDIDIT are a lightweight solution for race cars, off-road vehicles and tube-chassis vehicles that see occasional street use. Weighing in at just 6.1 pounds, the performance steering columns feature 5 inches of collapsibility from the use of a two-piece, collapsible shaft. Columns additionally feature a self-canceling electronic turn signal switch and four-way hazards, along with a six-bolt IDIDIT quick-release steering hub that is certified to SFI specification 42.1.

“The secret to this column is that most of the steering shaft is a hard-anodized aluminum top-shaft with a GM-style spline and turn signal switch,” reveals Trever Cornwell of IDIDIT Performance. “A ball bearing top bearing and Delrin bushing at the bottom of the column assure long life and smooth steering.”

The Pro-Lite Column can also be upgraded with IDIDIT’s new billet column mounts and a momentary switch kit on the turn signal stalk, which can be used for horns, nitrous purge, a trans brakes or high beams.
