CONGRATULATIONS to Superformance owner Mike T. from Boise, Idaho, on winning the June Photo of the Month Contest!

Mike’s win makes three months in a row for the Superformance MkIII owners. Another Superformance took third place from Bob in New Jersey and squeezed in between the two MkIIIs was a 2014 hybrid BMW i8 from Mark T. down in Texas.

Mike’s Cobra is powered by a Roush 427 ci equipped with F.A.S.T. XFI and a TREMEC 600CR transmission. The whole combination is good for 582.5 hp and 550 lb-ft. For cosmetics, the Cobra wears a set of aluminum pin-drive 17-inch Halibrand-style wheels and Porsche Midnight Blue paint. “Beautiful” is an understatement here.

We now have the July contest up and running, and we’re curious to see who will finally break the run the Superformance owners are having. You’ll find a nice assortment of vehicles in July’s contest. There are Cobras, of course, from Factory Five and Superformance, plus you’ll see a ’64 Cheetah roadster, a Type 65 Coupe from Factory Five, a Speedster, Corvette, Grand Sport Corvette from Mongoose Motorsports and 1 of only 19 K1 Attacks in the USA.
