CONGRATULATIONS to reader Michael D. for taking home the top honors in RCN’s June Photo Contest. This shot of Michael’s Backdraft Cobra was taken in Monterey, California, near Lover’s Point, and was an absolute knockout from the start. His Cobra is powered by a Roush 427 SR, and finished in Jerez Black with black ghost stripes and a blackout package. Inside it sports a carbon dash, along with a carbon Momo steering wheel and power steering. Up front, contemporary LED headlights top off the aggressive look.

Michael will receive a brand new ReinCarNation Magazine t-shirt, but we’re pretty sure we don’t have black on black though to match his ride. Maybe we’ll consider it though — just in time for summer.

Michael topped the podium by a healthy margin, but the two runner-ups were no slouches. Second place went to Thomas’ stunning 1973 911 RS, which gathered a solid following. Third place went to George’s ’77 Pilgrim RHD Cobra, shot with a contrasting quarry backdrop.

Now we’re on to the July contest, which features a Unique Motorcars Cobra, a J2X from Allard Motor Works, Westfield Mega S2000, RCR GT40, FiberFab MGTD, ’71 Datsun 240 Z, FFR Roadster, and a Mercury Zephyr wagon at high speed.
