Miami Vice Daytona wins RCN photo contest
CONGRATULATIONS to reader Terry B. for taking home the top spot in RCN’s May photo contest. Terry’s Miami Vice Daytona replica nudged out the competition, which included some great homebuilt replicas and classic cars. Terry’s car is powered by a 305 TPI with a Muncie four-speed “rock crusher” transmission. This build started in 1992 and was completed in 1997, and the car has been enjoyed ever since. Terry will receive a brand new ReinCarNation Magazine t-shirt, and with the right pair of shades, it’ll look just like Sonny Crockett is behind the wheel this summer.
Cameron just barely missed the top spot, landing in second with the great GT40 shot. Third place saw a tie between Bob’s Cisitalia and Pete’s Superformance Coupe, and both were beautiful cars in beautiful settings.
Our June photo contest is low live, which features a couple of Backdrafts, a pair of Smyth Performance utes, an FFR Challenge Car, 1973 911 RS, Toyota MR2, Fiberfab MG TD and a ’77 right-hand-drive Pilgrim Cobra.
