Simpson Design has done more to elevate the looks and style of Miatas than just about any other single company. Here’s a preview of a modern iteration of the Lotus 11 Ghia Aigle from 1957. Jim Simpson says he’ll be building a custom chassis, designed to use Miata running gear and suspension. With a target weight of 1300 pounds, it should be very quick even with stock mechanicals.
