RCN Mag October Photo Contest Winners
CONGRATULATIONS to reader Zach B. of Alabama and his Unique Motorcars 289 Cobra replica for taking the October 2020 Photo Contest podium spot in a landslide victory. This is the largest margin between first place and the rest of the field that we've seen in quite some time. This is also the first time we’ve had a Unique Motorcars Cobra at the top of the podium. Congrats again to both Zach B. and Unique Motorcars.
A few details about the vehicle provided by Zach are as follows:
"351 Windsor with T3550 transmission. My wife and I became the third owners of this Cobra 14 years ago, and have slowly but surely transformed it from a replica racer configuration (side pipes, LeMans top, Halibrands) to the "sporting street" appearance it has today. It makes for enjoyable weekend getaways in the country as well as fun runs for ice cream or coffee with our young daughters!”
That’s awesome Zach!
Rounding out the top five finishers were Ray’s 427 Cobra, Bill’s Kellison J5, Ray’s Jaguar XK120Z and Artemio’s ’98 Integra.
The November Contest is up and running and from what we are seeing, our viewers are truly adopting the re-branded Rare Car Network website. Submissions include a Pagani Zonda F that set the track record at Nurburgring back in 2007, a 1973 International Harvester TravelAll, an FFR MKIII, Cisitalia 202 MM Cabriolet, a 1958 Jaguar XK150, a 1966 Plymouth Satellite 426 Hemi, 7fifteen Motorworks’ Troy Indy Special, a 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5, 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo and a 2002 Spec Miata.
Whew… that was a mouth full… get out and rock the vote for your favorite HERE, and remember to submit a photo of your ride here for a chance to take home the title next month!
Best of luck to future contestants and thank you to those that vote!
